Jubilee Tea Party

The Knutsford Mayor, Vivian Davies, was guest of honour at our Jubilee Special Assembly this afternoon.

She talked to the children about her role and the importance of the Jubilee before presenting the school with a special gift of a Jubilee Crown for Knutsford Town Council. This is a great gesture and provides a lasting memento of this special celebration.

We then were fortunate with the weather to be able to go out for our very own ‘street party’ on the Junior playground. The PTA did an amazing job in decorating this area and providing a special jubilee cup cake and fruit. The children went on the field to play some very special jubilee games invented by our Phys Kids leaders in Year 6. Pre School children joined us too. We all had a fun-filled afternoon - a great end to an amazing half term!
