National Walking Month

Time to start stepping out....

May is national walking month and is an opportune time to promote walking. Why not leave a little earlier in the morning and walk to school, especially now that the weather is improving! The Reception children have been learning about how to stay safe and have carried out a traffic survey on Bexton Road. They were amazed at how many vehicles they could count in such a short time! These children are very clear regarding how to keep themselves safe and know to ‘STOP, LOOK AND LISTEN!’ Adults can support their learning by discussing this at home and driving and parking responsibly.

Keep an eye on Cheshire East Council's website for walks that are being organised near you!
