Egerton shares good practice with others

MMU students hear about partnership with Kenya.

I was invited to give a lecture to B.Ed students at Disdsbury Campus of MMU this week. These are students in their final year training to be teachers and completing a module on Global School Partnerships. I was asked to talk to them about our partnership with Egerton in Kenya and how this works in practice and the impact upon the children and communities of both schools. This was a real privilege for me because I am so proud of what both schools have been able to achieve in honour of the Egerton family. I trained at Didsbury too so it did make me feel a little old going back! The very next day I was contacted by two students to ask if they could come and visit our school, which will be a pleasure!
