World Book Day - WOW

Amazing array of characters to celebrate World Book Day

We had the most amazing day yesterday! World Book Day is one of the most favourite in the school year. What was wonderful this year was that characters were created very easily from what children already had at home. A good example of this was Saucepan Man from the Magic Faraway Tree – grey leggings, top and lots of saucepans and lids attached!

Class 1 had a visit to Knutsford Library that morning – a great day to do this! We had a special parade of each class in the afternoon so that the children could see everyone in the school. Unfortunately, school have still not received our World Book Day Vouchers. We have been promised that they are on their way! As soon as we receive them we will send them home with your child.
